Help: FBI Needs A Code Broken

The FBI is asking for help from citizens. A murder that happened in 1999 is still unsolved, and there were two coded notes in the dead man’s pocket. The code still isn’t broken, and on March 30th of this year, the FBI opened the floor to help from the public at large.

This isn’t the first time that the public will help break a coded note surrounding a murder. If any folks reading this blog remember, the coded letters the Zodiac was sending out to newspapers were broken by a history teacher, Donald Harden, and his wife.

Here’s an online article with a good picture of the note: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42348642/ns/technology_and_science-security/

If you think you have it done and want to submit it, here’s the FBI’s submission page: http://forms.fbi.gov/code

Good Luck!
